Rats Soul Cats
As
the name implies The Packrats/Soulcats cover the huge spectrum
of music from the famous 'Ratpack', (Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin,
Sammy Davis) to the Soul of artists like Marvin Gaye, Sam
& Dave, Otis Redding, Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder; via
the jump-jive of Louis Prima, Louis Jordan and the rock n
roll of Elvis & co; the likes of Tom Jones and Van Morrison,
a little lively Latin, and a whole lot more besides.
The
line-up is:
Ben Brierley - Vocals
Kim Nishikawara - Tenor Sax, Flute, Clarinet and Vocals
Peter Clare - Keyboards, Trombone and Vocals
Mark Townson - Guitar and Vocals
Joel Allison - Bass
Tim Franks - Drums
The
band comes complete with p.a. and lights and can also supply
background music if required.
The
Rats/Cats work normally as a six-piece band but, for extra
impact the horn section can be enlarged.
